Boston Public Gardens
Stroll through the Gardens (and the Boston Common across the way), take in Olmsted's beautiful landscaping, or hop on a swan boat. The Gardens are Natalie's favorite place to be in Boston.
The Esplanade
Join in the picnicking, jogging, and sunset-watching on the banks of the Charles.
Kayaking/paddle boarding
Paddle yourself along the Charles! https://paddleboston.com/
Museum of African American History
Visit the lesser known Freedom Trail in Boston! You can learn about the abolitionist movement in Boston at the museum and on the walking tour, an awesome way to explore the beautiful Beacon Hill neighborhood. https://www.maah.org/
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Here, the estate is as beautiful as the artwork. https://www.gardnermuseum.org/
Harvard Art Museum
Perfect size for taking in a wide-ranging collection in a short amount of time! https://harvardartmuseums.org/
Back Bay
The hotel blocks are located in this bustling neighborhood of shops, cafes, and historic streets. We love strolling down Newbury Street and walking along Commonwealth Avenue or Marlborough Street to marvel at the brownstones.
Beacon Hill
The bricks, cobblestones, and narrow streets make this Boston's most photographed neighborhood. Natalie was lucky enough to live here just steps from the Boston Public Gardens.
Fenway Park
Though Wrigley Field will always be #1 in our hearts, Fenway has been our home away from baseball home. Since the Red Sox will be away over our wedding weekend, you can take a tour of the country's oldest baseball stadium. Bonus points if you watch Fever Pitch and listen to Sweet Caroline before you come.
North End
Boston's Little Italy is jam packed with pasta, pizza, and energy. We first said "I love you" on Hanover Street! Our favorite places to eat: The Daily Catch, Carmelina's, Trattoria Il Panino, Giacomo's...followed by Mike's chocolate chip cannolis for dessert.
Harvard College
If you're exploring campus, we recommend visiting Harvard Yard, Harvard Art Museum, Harvard Natural History Museum, and sneaking a peak at Lowell House, our beautiful home!
